Pizza Takeaway flops Even Mackie Dee get’s it wrong – sometimes. It could only be in the 1980s, the decade of poor taste and excess that a fast food brand associated with burgers fries would feel the need to grasp more market share with a product so out of its comfort zone. A plate sized disc of thick (and cheap to produce) dough with bitter tomato sauce and stringy cheese with lots of fat and no taste. For the life of me I’m struggling to see why this one was a flop! Gone by the early 1990s , just like the 80’s I’ll stick to a Big Mac, fries and diet cola please.
